ABOUT THE REBOUNDERS
The Memphis Rebounders was founded in 1965 by a group of what some have called ‘super fans’. Today, The Memphis Rebounders is committed to raising non-profit funds for the University of Memphis Foundation, with funds earmarked for Men's Basketball and its Head Coach, Penny Hardaway. The purpose of the Memphis Rebounders is to support, advocate, promote, fundraise, and connect the community and businesses to the men's basketball program.
The Memphis Rebounders also strongly advocate for and encourages supporter participation in offering Name, Image, & Likeness (NIL) opportunities for student-athletes. In that respect, the Rebounders support NIL Guidelines designed by the University of Memphis.
The Memphis Rebounders, LLC, is a 501(a) non-profit company. As such, the Memphis Rebounders raise funds primarily through membership drives, special events, donations, and merchandise sales. We are committed to seeing the Tigers continue to achieve athletic and academic excellence and NIL superiority for our student-athletes.
